'good God, it's all falling off!' is not a funny joke 1 Each individual hair has a life cycle of about four years and each hair follicle has an average of 25 life cycles. 2 Normal hair loss changes with age. younger people lose less than 100 strands a day. regardless of age, people shedding close to 200 strands daily are experiencing abnormal hair loss. 3 Hair loss is usually triggered by a combination of heredity and hormonal activity, which may cause hair follicles in your scalp to shrink. this progressive shrinking shortens the hair growth cycle until there is no growth at all. 4 The most common form of baldness is scientifically called Androgenetic Alopecia-male pattern baldness, hereditary in nature, it affects 85% of all genetically predisposed men between the ages 25 and 30. 5 Over-the-counter treatments for Androgenetic Alopecia such as Minoxidil Regroe increases the size of smallest blood vessels around the follicles, promoting better oxygenation and nutrition of hair follicles. it also stimulates the ahir matrix cells to produce longer and thicker hair. moreover, it acts as an anti-androgen, suppressing the appearance of baldness. come from a mag i truly love., cosmo., anyway., some helpfull ideas... hope you all like it!!!!

Oh wow, those were some really interesting 'hairy' facts..lol. I knew we had hair growth cycles but not 25 for each follicle! No wonder hair keeps falling, to make way for a new one:) I think I'll make note of the medication for baldness, some of my relatives might find use for it..hehe Thanks a ton for sharing these facts jelaichie, good day!:)

Could be a good idea to feed the hair from inside, with nutritious food or food supplements. My hair is thicker - I think - after having eaten good quality food supplements for some years. Some is falling off, but that is normal of course! If we get all vitamins, minerals and oils that our cells need to keep young and healthy, that must affect our hair too.
