If you suddenly lose your job tomorrow, what would you do?

I had a similar experience a couple of years back, although it was not sudden. We were all made to hand in our resignation letters and all positions were opened to external competition. I used to hop from one job to the next, it doesn't really matter whether I have a job or not in most cases. This time was different; I am a single mother with a 1-year old daughter. My sisters are generous, but they have their own lives; I can't force-fit myself there. That would not have been fair. Ok, I also had an ongoing graduate program. So, I thought I would take my daughter to my grandmother in my hometown, stay at the University to finish my graduate work. That would be quick since I can go full time. Since I don't have any money, I phoned my retired ex-boss, and asked for a lumpsum loan that will finance me for a year at the University. I was crying, then. I promised I will repay him once I get a job after I get my degree. I got the loan! Unfortunately for my studies, I never got to go fulltime, because I got the job in the end. Fortunately for my daughter, I am able to feed her, pay her babysitter, rent a nice apartment for her, and send her to toddler school! Oh, i never got the loan money. I called by ex-boss to tell him I got the job. That was a long story, hoping I get across the weight of that traumatic experience. So, what do you think would you do if you were suddenly fired tomorrow? :)

Ohhh! YES! That was like a flash of lightning on a dark sky! hahaha! I think that's what I will go for, too! Let's see, assuming it takes 2 minutes per post including turn-around time, you will need 10,000 minutes to post 5000 new discussions or comments. that's roughly 167 hours or 8.35 days on a 20-hour day! Would that be something like $50? hehe. Thank you for the response! cheers!
