KIshore Kumar was born in october on i think, 13 if i m not wrong, i like his songs and his way of singing. he was born in Madhya pradesh to a bengali family. he was an actor as well as a very successful singer.i like his acting skills too. his comedy acts were really cool.according to me he is the finest indian male playback singers of all time, along with Mohd. Rafi and Mukesh and many more. He use to sing in many languages, bengali, because it was his mother tongue, he could do it very easily, hindi, marathi, assamese, gujarati, kanadda, oriya........and amny more. i only know these. he is an ultimate asset , no doubt, and i love to hear his voice a lot.he never had any formal training in music. but then too he did made a name of himself in both the acting as well as singing category. he achieved a lot of success as a comedian.i loved watching his movie, Padosan, Half-Ticket. these were such Hillarious comedy films that one just cant stop laughing in it. as i like him a lot, i can write a lot on him because i know a lot about him.he was also interested in composing but i dont think that he did any much successful work in it with anyone with him.

Of course Kishore Kumar is ultimate asset with his unique voice. Nobody can fill his gap. Still I like Mohmod Rafi for his great voice.
