It is hard to say that you will end up loosing your hair, but twice a day is way to often. I wash my hair (long)once every 3-4 days.

I have been taking head bath for almost 5-6 years now and every time i take head bath, i will shampoo my hair and till now i haven't lost any hair due to shapooing.Maybe, since you are a female you maynot wash your hair on regular basis as it will take time to even dry up your hair isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

i dont think that daily usage of shampoo would result in hair loss. Yes excess use of dyes and hair setting things might do the damage but shampoos i doubt would do any harm.

Everyone has told my father since he was young that he is going to lose his hair from the type of shampoo he uses and washing it too much and he still has a full head of hair to this day. I dont think that will make you lose hair. It is a genetically passed on trait from the side of the mother I believe. So It depends on whether or not you have inherited a baldness trait. It could also be from some medical conditions. So don't worry about your shampooing.

All I can say is I never wash my hair everyday as it dries it out and my hairdresser agrees that ridding you hair of the natural oils is not good for it. Of course it you have oily hair then I suppose it would be OK.

Oily hair is alway's good But i don't think oiling your hair and keeping it for long time will help you in any case here.If you apply oil to your hair, you should keep it for only half an hour and not more than that as keeping it for long will result in dust getting stuck to your hair and your hair might become rough an dresult in hair falls. So, infact shampoo might do good for you. Anyway's, thanks for responding
