I reached 500 posts yesterday and am now able to upload pics into other members discussions, which I did several times yesterday. :) I have also gained the ability to cut and paste, however the only significance I see with this is that I can do spell check first in word and then paste my discussion, and that when I want to add a link of some sort I no longer have to type out a long url. :)
I believe I will be a full member when I receive my first payment, which I'm eligible for. How about you when did you feel like a full member here at mylot? How do you use the added benefits after reaching 500 posts?

I guess that I already felt like a full member before I got paid, since I started on the first day of January and couldn't get paid until mid-February. I was already over 1500 posts by the time I got paid, maybe even higher (it's hard to remember now) and I'd already made at least one or two significant friends on the site, and had posted quite a few topics that had gotten significant replies. In the end, getting paid, no matter how much I needed the money, was almost more of a bonus by the time it happened, than anything, because I realized just how much I enjoy being here and making friends and feeling the sense of 'community' that I have felt. But I would definitely consider myself a full member now that I've done all of that and been paid! ^_~

You are my role model. I can't believe how fast your numbers go up. Mine seem to just trickle. YOur response are always quality and lengthly. Way to go. I was half way to payout in January after only being on for 4 days, had I actually joined just a few days before I would have already made my first payout. :( Your are definelty a full member here. I'm very excited to be a part of this community and love commnicating daily with everyone. :)

congrats on becoming a fully fledged mylotter..i won't feel complete until i get my mylot song on air..this HAS to come out..the world must see mylot through the eyes of harlem 125th street lol.hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
so i am trying to get the song so i can record it..please bare with me..if i do that..then i will feel i am a true mylotter..we have to get a mylot single out next..that will be ambitious lol..

Thank you! I'm looking forward to hearing your song. I saw the discussion about music, however I'm of no help, I know nothing about downloading and uploading, ect. Ambition is a great thing. We can accomplish so much when we set our mind to it. :)

Wow you are really moving up. You got to five hundred in no time. That shows that you are really dedicated. I wish you the best of luck as I know that with your added features you are going to start making alot more progress. Good luck. Oh I didn't answer the initial question, sorry. I believe I became a full member the day I signed up, but I guess that doesn't count. LOL. Keep up the good work.

I feel that I'm pretty dedicated. It took almost a month to achieve 500 posts. I love the fact that I can now upload into other members discussions. I think that after I have received all benefits that I can fully participate. New discussions that ask is this real do you get paid I can't answer as I haven't received payment, so I guess that was what I was trying to say. :)

The numbers above our name or the star rating as they are called are your mylot reputation. The star is the result of how others rate your responses in other discussions and how they rate you for the discussions you start. The numbers range from 1 through 10. The higher the number, the higher your mylot reputation. I have seen many people that give quality responses always that should be a 10 and aren't so not exactly sure what other factors go into consideration. Hope that helps you some. :) Welcome to mylot!

Thank you for the kind words, yes I'm now on my way to 1000 posts, I have my 10 star rating that I have been trying to guard with my life, :). It hasn't been hard I've just staid honest and true. Can't go wrong there.

When I first joined myLot, there were no restrictions on copy/past or uploading photos. That rule was started after I had 500 posts anyways, so it didn't affect me. I don't use the copy/paste too much anyways. Like you, I find it great to be able to copy/paste a URL that I want to link to in a discussion, but other than that I don't really use it. I use the spellcheck on the Firefox browser, so that also saves me time. I also don't upload many photos or images. They didn't really seem to add to my earnings, and it is difficult to find images that are not copyright protected. Anyways, congratulations! I hope you continue to enjoy myLot.

I only use photos that I have taken so mine are all copywrited by me so to speak. I'm actually going to take my camera out this weekend and sanp some photos of general stuff to have more of a variety and be able to contribute more to the discussions. :)

After I reached 500 posts, I didn't really feel like more of a 'full member' than before. As for pasting and putting up pictures, I seldom do either on an actual discussion. If there are certain things that need to be 'text book', then I will copy and paste, but I always try to leave my opinion on it as well. For pictures, I usually only post in topics themselves and not in discussions.

The copy and paste feature for me will be great for adding the url's instead of typing them out. I love sharing pistures so I have been enjoying adding pics to others discussions whenever possible. :)

When you reach 500 posts you have the ability to upload pistures into other members discussions and now I can alos copy and paste url's into my discussions instead of trying to type them out. I felt like I acheived a great accomplishment here by reaching that magical number. Welcome to mylot!

Hi beaniefanatic13,
Congrats!!!! how long you have been here on mylot???? The cut and paste options that you would be eligible is really nice. atleast you can type the matter in a word document and
use dictionary for correction and also there is spell check,
and if there is a signature of your in your posting then you
can also put that in copy paste section.... have a nice day... :)

I just added the Firefox tonight and am absolutely loving it. I won't be able to go back either. I have to get used to the tool bar but it's wonderful. :)

At this time you can only upload pictures into the discussion that you start and in the interest section you need to make sure the picture is relevent to the discussion and the interest. Don't use copywrited pictures meaning pictures that you haven't taken. I hope that helps. YOu won't be able to add a pic into another members discussion until you reach the 500 mark. :)

Started yesterday and I'm very commited in reach the 500 post soon too : ) But first I need to get the 100 to get a star rate!!
As for the spell check, I use a browser called Firefox. It makes the spell check of every English word, which is great because I do make a lot of mistakes while I'm witting (not a native English speaker)...

From time to time it has come in handy being able to copy and paste.
I can't wait for my first payout. I missed last months and am now eagerly awaiting next months. Everyone has said that mylot pays and soon I will find out for myself.

Had I joined about 4 days earlier I would have had pay out last month. I actually hit $10 on the 4th of Feb, so have been waiting all month I guess that's even better as it's much more now. :)

I have been a full member (500's) since last weekend. It felt kinda nice to copy & paste and put up pictures. TONS OF FUN!
I qualify for full payment whenever they do it too! I am THRILLED! Its just like $10.00 but still its great.

I qualify when we get it to, mine is almost $30 right now, just going to hold on to it, going towards a lap top. So I have a ways to go to get that. I think that I need some good referrals to help get me there faster. :)

Yes that is my next goal. I started here on the 28th of January and reached the 500 mark early on the 20th of February. So not quite a month. Your almost to 100. :)

I felt the same way when I was working towards the 100. It took me 2 and 1/2 days of posting to get to the 100 posts and I was rewarded with a red 9 star I was so excited. Good luck to you here at mylot! :)

I have just joined MYLOT and am looking forward to making a lot more postings. Thanks for your post, and it seems that a lot of MYLOT seniors are coming in with congrats. Its still along way for me to reach 500 posts, but I think they will come. MYLOT is a place full of interesting discussions and people from many walks of life. Lots of view points and thoughts that are being shared and circulated.
