When my cat was little I rolled over her with my computer chair atleast once a week. Well, it's been about four months but I did it again today. She spent an hour in the shower hiding from me. I checked her she's fine - she just hates me. Now I feel like a horrible cat mom. When she was 2 months old I accidently slammed her head in the front door.. *hangs head* I still have guilt Anyone else have similar experiences?

It's hard not to do things like that every once in awhile. Cats love to be underfoot. I have done things like that, like accidentally stepped on my cat's foot or tail, and they will run and hide, I will say I'm sorry as if they understood the words (hopefully they understand the tone of voice at least) and they get over it. Unless those times when they've been right in my way and I've almost tripped were deliberate attempts to kill me or something.

Oh yes, cat stories are quite sad..however you never forget them (espically when the scratch and leave a scar!) My cat stories: 1.) When I was about 5 years old I used to dress up my Nana's kitten Midnight with my babydoll clothes. He is such a great cat, and let me get away with putting frilly dresses on him, and rolling him around in strollers. One day we were outside and either he was in a bad kitty mood or just fed up with dress up time because he completly freaked and scratched up my arms and legs. I cried and thought my "baby" hated me. Well I am sixteen now, and he is still alive and well-Great cat! 2.) About three years ago, I was about thirteen, my cat Snooks was getting into stuff in the living room so I thought I would just go out and get him-bring him into my room. It was dark in my room and to turn on the light you had to walk across the room and plug in the light. [I had a little tv with an antenna sticking strait out blocking the path to the light that was off.] On my way to the light, cat in my arms, my cat started scratching me, and making a bunch of weird noises. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, and by the time I turned on the light and figured out I was running the cat into the T.V. antenna, my arms were scrated up, bleeding and puffing up. I still have a scar from this insident on my arm :( Poor kittys

Ok, not to be mean but how dumb is this cat? Yes accidents happen I have too accidently stepped on my cats or closed their heads in the sliding glass door. But you say once a week you would role over the cat? Did the cat not learn to stay away from the computer chair??? I'm sorry, but I see some majoy therapy in the future for that cat....LOL

Accidents will happen even though you feel terrible. There have been a couple of times where I have shut the refrigerator door on my poor cat and sometimes I would get his head or paw shut in a cupboard door.I just had to get in the habit of making sure that he wasn't around when I opened the refrigerator or cupboard. Took me but awhile but i did. You're not a horrible mom! We have all been there

All.The.Time. Especially with 4 of em. Meeca fell off the bed the other night and landed on her head.. then she just looked at J like why did you push me?? Dory's balance is a little off and she is clumsy as all get out-- she'll go to jump on the washer and jump into it because she doesnt allow herself enough room. And Itty gets stepped on all the time. Same thing with Bub and his fluffy tail.. it gets closed in doors.
