If you received news from your doctor

If you would told by your doctor that you had terminal illness..what things would you do..
Would you quit work? Would you cry? Would you try to find a cure and lengthen your life???
If I found out that I had a terminal illness .. I would not go after all kinds of medications to prolong my life if this was all it was doing ..prolonging what is inevitable.

I think I would try to prolong my life as long as they didn't have any side effects.
I would want to spend as much time with my children as possible. I would certainly leave work and spend time with them.

I think that if a person has children or a spouse..I can see that they may want to prolong their life..and think that is wonderful that you would go through painful treatments to prolong your life to be with your children;)+

If I was told this by my doctor, I would just try and enjoy life the best that I can and do whatever I can during the remaining time that I had in life. There is not much else a person can do in this situation and being pumped full of meds or being on life support is not my idea of fun. I definitely would cry because I do not want to die.

I think like you do on the idea of having so many meds pumped into ya..I think that when it's time to go.why prolong the inevitable? Crying is alright..tears get out all the poisons..:)+

If i got recieved news like that from my doctor i would probably cry then later on have a family meeting.I would pray that i find a cure and probably do as much research as i can.

Prayer is always very healing ..if only in spirit..it sure does help. I respect those who seek healing; but .. I feel the world is not getting better and would love to meet Jesus some day!+

I no I would cry. I would quit my job so I can be around my family as long as I can. I would miss my husband, my children and grandkids. I would not be able to sleep at night, thinking about my illness.I just hope something like this never happends to me.
