Do you like woman/men with long hair...tell why

Why do men like women to have long hair rather then short hair?

i always assumed to drag the woman off to their cave, but a biology prof of mine pointed out that long, healthy hair means (or at least meant long ago) a healthy woman, which meant a healthy womb and probably healthy offspring. silly boys, they think it's just because it looks pretty!
