What is in for us to give rating for other posts?

What is in it for you, if you rate others? Nothing. That is, nothing except the knowledge that you are helping others. Since you have an 8 in your star, others must have rated you positively. Surely, as a member of the community, you would want to return those favours and rate everyone positively?

I agree that by rating others you are helping them, but it also improves your star rating because that is what the mylot community thinks of you also. It is a way of stopping bad responses also by doing a neg or! rating.

it is just a better way to earn more cents so if the reader thinks you answer is good they can rate it

Don't you get more money if your discussions have more + ratings? That's what i thought anyway. So although you don't benefit yourself, the idea is that we rate each others discussions if we like them and thus all help each other out. So while you don't have to rate peoples discussions and help them earn more, be aware that if more people took that attidue we'd all earn less!
