What would you consider to be the most challenging thing about being a parent? For me its providing for him. Making sure that everything i give my son is the best that i can give him. The healthiest foods, good clothes, a place to live, a safe enviroment. Of course then there is the 2 year old who thinks he knows everything. THAT is a challenge too. hehe. So what is it for you?

I am not sure it is a challenge to parenting, but my most difficult thing to endure as a parent was the watching of my child dieing, standing by helpless to "make it all better" By the grace of the Good God he did survive, but watching him as he was dieing for a year was most difficult.

Right now my biggest challenge is taking care of a toddler and a infant basically by myself since right now my husband is preparing for his 3rd year long tour to Iraq. I have to stat strong for my girls when in reality I just want to break down.

The most challenging thing for me has been actively struggling not to be my mother. The things I endhured are not what I want my children to have to live through either, yet I often find myself falling into the same routine that was used on me. I am always making sure that I stay in control of myself and not let my emotions get jumbled.
