Do you ever encounter people who do not believe in global warming? How do you handle it? Do you try to talk to them about it or just let it go?

I just let them know they are welcome to argue with thousands of well-respected scientists who have actually studied it and have joined together to declare that it does indeed exist and that there's about a 90% chance that it's caused or at least quickened by humanity. There are only a handful of scientists in opposition to it, and most of those are in the pay of various corporations whose profits would suffer if we made the necessary changes to slow global warming. Tell those who don't get it that the facts simply are not on their side, and if they are rejecting fact and evidence in order to hold onto their beliefs, then they can only be delusional.

I have run in to a few people who don't believe it. Unfortunetely i was at work and couldn't start the converstion of trying to help them see it. I had to just say nothing. Not the best way to do it. Maybe i'll think of some way to say something next time.
