I was just wondering who everyone thought would win the next Nascar race? I am a huge fan and have to tell ya, was dumbfounded over last week's race.

I am a Dale Jr fan all the way along with Mark Martin but since he is not driving all the races, I will just stick with Jr. How about Waltrip? He seems to be messing up left and right this season.

I felt bad when he made a comment that is was hard to explain to his daughter why daddy lied when lying is bad. That is the mom in me though. haha.

I kinda felt sorry for Waltrip. There was so much hype over Toyota racing this year, and then BAM...it was one thing after another. I like different drivers. I am a Jr. fan, I like Carl Edwards, Mark Martin, my dad is a Dale Jarrett fan (so I was raised liking him), Tony Stewart sometimes...not too much of a Jimmy Johnson fan, and I like the Busch boys.

You're Ward's cousin? That's cool. I thought Yates should have hired him instead of Rudd. He deserves a better team than the 4. And Jeff is the best driver RCR has. I'm a Roush fan and hated to see him leave.

I didn't know that you guys were cousins. Known you for a year plus and didn't know that. Learn something new everyday.

Daytona is a different animal. The restrictor plates make things shake out that wouldn't anywhere else. So I never look at the results of Daytona and project them to the rest of the season. I think Gordon has been strong in the off season. He's sitting on the pole. I'd give the edge to him. This week will be a good gauge of how the rest of the season will shake out. After tomorrow, we'll know who's strong and who isn't.

I agree. Last week's race, most of the heavy hitters were out of the race, because of one thing or another. I can't wait to see tomorrow's race to see how it goes.

It's hard to say there is a lot of good drivers starting up front tomarrow. Gordon was one of the first few cars to go out and he had a really good lap so we will see.

I can't really add to this discussion to much sine I usually come play a game while Bish watches, I do know he likes Tony Stewart though. I also know that Tarsa is very passionate about her Nascar lol

I'm also a huge fan. We're in a small group with hubby's co-workers on Yahoo Fantasy Racing. We came in second last season as a team. This year we're picking our own teams and for this race I've picked Jeff Burton as my number one pick (I'm not sure who hubby picked until after the race starts). Jeff's done amazing since getting into that car. Last week well that was just a crap shoot. You never know who'll end up in a wreck so it doesn't matter how good a driver you are. I had 2 of my drivers take each other out last week (Stewart & Busch {the big one not the Shrub, hehehe}). I better get off the computer so I have time to get the last of the chores done so that I can sit and watch the race and RaceDay too. Always nice to meet fellow NASCAR fans.

I do fantasy racing through Fox Sports. I did fairly good last year, I came in 2nd in my league.
