Hi, There are a lot of things to consider. What kind of jobs have your friend had? (experience) maybe she is picky, maybe she is having a hard time with something and cant find one because she is not looking hard enough, maybe when she goes to interviews she acts like she isnt interested and employers dont like that. Maybe you need to talk to her and ask her what is going on and let her know that getting a job is something she needs to do, how is she paying for stuff, who is supporting her, if she has someone paying her way she is probably not gonna find a job soon.. so all these questions you have to ask, then maybe you find out what is going on..

I recently went through the same ordeal, and it is hellish. I went to the local career center, and threw myself at their mercy. Actually, they were great. They got me registered there, and started helping me right away to find a job. They offered free computer classes, and other free classes to teach me how to find a job. And then interview for one. I also went to the Social Services and applied for food stamps, which was fairly easy. The longer I visited the Career Center, the more options I discovered I had..that place became my second home. I did have to rely on help from friends and family for awhile, but now I do have a job (just started last week), I have my own place, and little by little, I'm making it. I also worked on filling my head with just positive thoughts...like, I knew I'd find a job I could live with, I knew I'd find a place to live..and I've not been letting a single negative thought creep in and bring me down. Miracles happen every day...you just got to let them in. And believe in them.
