So we all have our favorite comfort food, something that through the years we reach for or yearn for but upon making or cooking these foods are friends and family can't believe we eat or make? What is your favorite comfort food?? Sometimes I make my mother's spaghetti, she has passed away now almost 2 years but it still bring pleasure for me to eat. Not that it is any good, I mean it is Franco American Spaghetti, ketchup and ground beef, sometimes I used ground turkey, it all taste the same. My mother was a busy single parent and didn't have much time or desire to cook when I was growing up, to this day I always enjoy making her spaghetti. Do you have a favorite that brings a smile to your face to eat, perhaps a story that goes with the food.

Good for you. I too, like sugar in most of my food, but when I met my boyfriend he really has a sweet tooth and he is the first person that ever told me to put more sugar in my food and I have actually seen him doing it behind my back (spaghetti is a big one in the house). Isn't it nice to have memories like this that all it takes is a little food and it brings a smile to our face. Thanks for sharing

My comfort food is pretty simple. But something only my partner does not get. LOL My all time comfort food is Kraft Mac and Cheese...made from the powder stuff. One time I was so sick with meningitis and my partner felt guilty because he thought I was faking being sick until the doctor had to give me a nice big shot and told me to go to hospital. LOL Well, when we had dinner the next day, he went to the store and pick up so many of my favorites. Even anti pasta with artichokes! He even baked the chicken the way I liked it! But when he got me up to come to the kitchen, I started crying. First I started crying because all I wanted was Kraft Mac and Cheese. Then I started crying because I felt I was being ungrateful and he went to so much trouble to make dinner and feed all seven kids! LOL So he sent me back to bed with a plate that I just picked at and walked in later with a huge bowl of Kraft Mac and Cheese! LOL The was the BEST Mac and Cheese I had in a long time!!!! :)

My favorite comfort food is not something you cook but it is something my family thinks is strange. It is soft cheesies with vingear on them with a can of pepsi to drink. I started to crave the cheesies and vingear when I was pregnant with my daughter who is almost 21, so I have been eating this for along while.
