My vet is closed today and I cannot get hold of him.Do any of you know the signs of parvo in a dog? I have a puppy & he's acting really sluggish and not eating much at all...is this a sign he has it? I also have some cats can they catch it? I would appreciate any feedback on this if you know. And "Thanks if you do help me"...:) xx

My pup had that almost 15 years ago and from what I can remember Her nose was quite hot and dry and she was both gastric and vomiting also. I hope your pup doesn't have it you may have to ring around a few vets to find one that is open.

sevear vomiting, high temprature, and bloody diareha are what my vet told me. My puppy laid around for two days and wouldn't eat or drink anything. When I took him to the vet I was told it was round worms. I had to give him meds for a week but now he's back to his hyper self. I hope that your pup is okay!

my dog myka just passed way a month ago from parvo... it was the hardest thing to see. it taks 2 days 4 parvo to...im sorry 2 say but kill. its fast. mine only lasted 1 1/2 days. yes, myka stopped eating, stop drinking, she started throwing up...blood came out EVERYWHERE.... foaming at mouth, got sunk in skinny. Just remember, animals know when their dying & when they do, they hide... i forgot about that & i kept her alive (in pain)becuz....i was being selfish and was in denial so i wouldnt leave her sight. i found her hiding 3 times....:(
