I have studied in Baguio City and I think it is still the best tourist spot in the Philippines. The climate is good and there are many beautiful sceneries there where we may visit.

I have scoured places from north to south in the Philippines. Baguio City is still No. 1 for me. Just being there is already joy in my heart seeing the beautiful nature around with the very nice climate. And there are many places where we may go and spend some days or really a vacation. In other places, one day is enough or two and the heat makes us too tired.

Come to our beaches in Davao City and see the Crocodile Farm and other beautiful spots there. We are peaceful in the place and there are many fruits to eat. There are plenty of seafoods also.

i like davao too! i've been there and the beaches are so inviting. i love the eat-all-you can restaurant which offers seafoods. i hope to be able to go back there again.

i'd like to be added on those who thinks that baguio is the best place in the philippines. i've lived there since my elementary days until last january. i only had to move out because i already got married and i need to be with my husband. i love baguio primarily because of the weather. it is so relaxing living there. you can buy fresh vegetables and flowers in the market. people are so kind, taxi drivers are so polite and will give you back your change, even it is just php1. but things are starting to change now. the streets are starting to be crowded, more and more people are migrating. baguio politics is also getting dirty. how i wish it could just go back to the simple and clean baguio that i used to grow up with.

choosing between baguio and a beach, i opt to go to the latter, since i'm a water/ sun/ sand person. summer equals the water so beach tops my spot. baguio is a nice play to stay if your'e with your family. but the beach gives me the best time to enjoy the vacation. even with a lot of people, there still a nice spot for you and your group to stay. as for the heat, the water will surely do their job. and for more thrilling adventure, try water rides. they'll make the best of your memories. i agree bout galera. since its very close to manila. you still get to party at night although not comparable to bora's night life. if your'e looking for a nice beach with a tranquil feel, try zambales. there's a nice island there, very bora or much better that bora. :)

hey guys, actually I ahve never been to the Philippines but plan to do so soon. Its really nice to hear so many things about a specific place in the P'pines, as I was told that the best places to visit are only Minila and Cebu, but im sure I would now include a couple of them more like Baguio City and puerto gallera. thx guys, cheers

i get it why a water person would not appreciate baguio city enough. even the lake at burnham can only provide a little bt of serenity because of teh crowd. i for one am not a fan of baguio because the city is just too crowded for my kind of vacation. everywhere you go, there are lots of people. even burnham park at 7am is already bustling. if only camiguin is much nearer to manila, it would be my top choice for a vacation spot -- amazingly beautiful and quiet. hmm, must maximize the time when it's not yet so popular among the tourists worldwide.

Yes, I agree with the others. I think, it's baguio. First best thing in there is the climate. It's just too hot in other lower places. Although it's difficult to go there, and ther fare is just not cheap, enjoyment is guaranteed. I am planning to build my dream vacation house there, in the future. hehe
