Since we got a big screen T.V. and surround sound we have not gone to the movie theater once. Any one else rather do this?

I prefer staying home and watching TV. I am not paying money to sit in a theater and listen to cell phones ringing, crying babies and people talking. I'd rather stay in.

I don't have a "home theatre" but still I hardly go to movie theatres anymore, it's more convenient to stay and watch movies at home, a big screen would be just great but I can't afford one now..

I would much rather watch movies at home. You are more comfortable, you can get up and get snacks when you want and the big one there is no line for the potty break.

I prefer watching movies at home. I can't stand going to the theatres anymore. The tickets are overpriced, the theatre is either too hot or too cold. I much prefer the comfort of home where I can monitor my enviroment, volume and eat inexpensive snacks LOL

if i have the chance to have hdtv in my home i would rather do it. because here in our country, couples use movie houses to do their "thing". and you get distracted at times when you see people around touching each other while you try to understand the movie. =)

I'd much rather watch a movie at home on the big screen than to go to the theater. I don't like the theater because it's expensive and the snacks are way overrated. Like the little theater peppermint patties I can buy the same brand at the dollar store. Why spend $3 if you don't have to? I also like watching them at home because I can pause it if I get hungry or thirsty or have to use the restroom. Plus the couch is way more comfortable than those chairs.

I don't even have a big screen tv and I prefer to watch at home. Basically ever since I got my own place, I don't think my boyfriend and I have went to the movie theater once. If I do go it's with some girlfriends, but still even that's rare. It's just not that much fun, sitting in a crowded room in a sticky chair watching a movie for top dollar. For the price of one trip to the movies I can buy like...4 of them on pay per view.

Television - Television is a telecommunication system for broadcasting and receiving moving pictures and sound over a distance and also refer to all the aspects of television from the television set (or internet) to the programming and transmission.
Choosing a TV is much more complicated today than it was a few years ago… The good news is that all types of TV's keep on improving even as the prices keep dropping. We don't have a big screen TV or anything special at the moment, but we have been looking at getting a new one as soon as we can afford one. As we do prefer to watch movies/DVDs at home. Its much more comfortable to sit at home without all those other people around you and much less expensive than going out…

Depends on the type of movie I want to see. If its a new one, with action and suspense or even a sci-fi I would prefer to see it at the theatre. If its a girlie movie, romance, chick flick, then i would probably wait until its out on dvd and watch it at home.

i personally on a normal time would rather go to the theater love seeing a live show theater is my theme i studied it since i was an art studen at highschool and also did my degree in it..so:) but this days when i go to the theater it seems like the theater is turning in my state to a show..there is very little theater to see so most of the time in the past year i found myself staying home watching a good movie..:)
