Help please !! Msn messenger / windows vista

I would try uninstalling Msn Messenger and reinstalling it to see if that helps make it work. It sounds like there is some kind of confict between Vista and the program or a file may be missing. I would do that first. If that does not work, you can try installing trillian as it includes msn messenger in it as well as aol and yahoo for chatting online. I have no idea. I am holding off purchaing my new computer till the bugs are worked out of the new VISTA. Try going to the Q&A at the MSN Messenger. They usually have the problems listed with answers there. Good luck

hai rick, try go to control panel and go to add remove program and go to window component. uninstal the msn messenger then install it again. hope this help you.

I think you have to use MSN Live which is same as MSN messenger. It is new software provided by Microsoft.

same kinda problem faced by me too..........juzz uninstall MSN Messenger n reinstall it again.......worked for me....... that problem cam when I wuz using Home Premium........ Ultimate hasn't shown any problems yet.....apart frm sucking up resources.........:D

Do you have the newest version of messenger? You may want to uninstall and reinstall the program.

Woow WIndows Vista.. what a hot subject i can say. I have talked a lot in my area with many of my friends and all of them had only positive thoughts about it. I can say that i was blow off by this new windows system. Some things certainly lack to it but this new look which Microsoft has incorporated in it certainly do the money you would give for it.
