if anyone needa help with anything do do with computers, ask me here. If its hardware related, or software, i can try and help =D.

When i play the game half life 2 and when i change the options in it like video settings then i get an error c++ runtime error and the game shuts down by itself and returns to windows. Why is this happening?

hmm... make sure you have the latest video card drivers. also, check that your system can handle the options you are setting, since they would cause the crash.
if all else fails, can't you just play it without changing the options? i mean playing like that is better than not playing at all.
