Is it safe to lock your child at home when you go out?

What is better? Do you believe in locking your child in when you go out? Is it better to take him along even ig his naughty to the core. What about leaving him in a friend's house while you go for a party? Will you be embarassed if you take him to a party and if he creates all sort of problems and spoil the party mood?

you are not locking your child while you go out. it isn't safe at all. what about when there is fire in the house and your child couldn't escape. it is better to find a nanny to look out your child. if your child creates some problem in the party I think it is normal. your's is still child you know. and after all theirs is your child. just accept them no matter menace their are.

What you said is the correct approach. When i wrote about the child, I never wrote it is mine. One of my friends lock up his child. My advices were in vain. I just want to show all the responses to him. Please provide more responses to this discussion. After all the baby is his and he should learn to live with the child.

Tell your friend to hire a babysitter!!!!!! Grow up and be an adult. Do not lock a child in an unattended house so you can go party. That is just about the most irresponsible thing I have heard in a long while. If partying is more important than your child, then adopt your child to someone who really wants to have a child and trust me, they will not abandon the child so they can go party.
If your friend does not like the behavior of the child, then the friend should be looking in the mirror to see who the child learned it from.
If your friend persists in locking a child in a house so they can go party, CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY!!!
You see, what your friend is doing is called NEGLECT!!! And parents who neglect their children go to jail.
