The end of the month blues....

I know that I'm probably going to have this problem in the summer, when I won't have very much time to be on Mylot per day. Right now I find that you can earn around a dollar per day by posting to about 30 discussions and starting a couple of good topics, which makes it fairly easy to make payout, but that takes at least an hour or two per day, which I may not have in the summer. I don't think that I'll be worrying about it, since I really won't have the time - I'll just let the money carry over, unless I'm really close to payout and can find some extra time to try harder to reach that payout before the month ends. Since I'm relatively new here, and am only now digging out the "SECRETS" of how anyone gets paid, or "Earns" money here;AND With All Due Respect, I suppose if earning only $1.50 more makes you balanced, then I imagine you'll be able. What confuses me still; and I post to other sites that don't pay, and I'm very OK with that; IS that anyone thinks they make substantial earnings here? Certainly I spend more time at the comp than is usually reasonable, but I also WORK, away from the comp, and my home. Some can't, I realize that. In a more general sense if anyone actually "Depends" on sites like this to survive, I am saddened. Long ago I used to be on Keen.Com and when I had Nothing, that site occasionally HELPED me, but it could never support me. In my work, I average approximately $3,000 a month on the record. I seriously doubt I could create that kind of income here, even sitting at it 24/7. Beyond the issue of MONEY, being substantial, posting for pennies might not always OFFER anyhing of much substance to others? Just one Wolfs Opinion, no need to feel offended, it wasn't meant personally. I guess the greater feeling I have is a site like this, or rather MY personal efforts are with regard to HELPING, sharing info, Learning, being entertained, gathering other opinions, sometimes just venting, and not become too absorbed in it as anything akin to REAL life,,, in my life.

I would say there are enough pressures in life my friend please do not give yourself any more , I must ask pal who is that in your Avatar ? xx

I just wait til next month. Last month I was 1.00 short of payout and they did their big clean up and it pushed me over by 4.00 :D So I'm waiting to see if I lose or gain with the next clean up. I still have 3.00 til payout. I just haven't been able to post as much and only make 20 cents a day :(

I guess you are not the only one with that problem ;) I do not consider myslef in that situation yet because I am pretty far from the minimum payment LOL but if I were you I would not worry too much either, mainly because of the amount of money we are talking about... I would just look forward to next month, keeping in mind still that it does not mean I should not try my best to reach the minimum payment for that month too = 10 + 10 right ? ;) in any case next month can only be better !

Just keep at it, it will get there. At least this one pays, some don't.

Yes that is a sitaution I think most of the myloters faces during the end of the month.I also am facing this month.I think I may not be able to reach the minimum payout.

okay comedyaddict now this is a discussion that went "hit" and now you have something to get paid for!!. Anyway, when I read your topic first, I never thought I was going to reply it but when I read after that, you almost forced me to do it in your last sentence. So here goes..I joined mylot three months back and do you know how much I've earned? 7.63$...I'VE NEVER BEEN PAID!! This is because of my studies and other activities as I'm still a schoolboy. So no problem of end-of-the-month-blues with me!

Oh well, just start some 30 discussions, or post some 80 good long replies, and you´ll make it, I dont start many discussions, but just from replying i earn 90cents to 1.30 a day. I´ll check around and see if I can help reply to your discussion, good luck mate!

Normally I just ramp up the discussions, but this month I'm not really worrying about it. I'm waaaaaaay behind this month... almost $4 short! I think I'll just enjoy the extra next month.

This is my first month on MyLot, well i joined at the end on January so wasn't in time for payouts then. But i have earned enough for a $25 payout this month and have leftovers for next month. If it was me though, i wouldn't worry about it too much. It just means you will get a bigger payment next month

I'd just say if thats YOUR goal of making the $10.00 or whatever yours is then GO FOR IT! Push yourself but dont kill yourself NOT worth it. I've been rather surprised latelly. I do comments and some days less then others and get paid more for the less days then the ones with more. I think it was quality posts not quanity in that case. So do both and have fun. I would say you can do if it you posts like 20 a day at least good luck!

Figure out whats the most you usually make without eat, sleep, and drinking mylot and figure if it's doable, i not next month you will have a bigger payout waiting. I don't personally see $1.50 in 2 days unless you have lots of active referrals or type all day and night, or upload 150 pictures, and being as you are below the 500 posts to be able to upload don't see that happening weither.

I just wait till next month, where you will get quite a lot. Last month i earned $17 because i was only on $9 at the end of the December so basically got two months in one go. Managed to buy a whole DVD with that money, it was very nice because its the first time i've bought myself anything since last summer and it didn't technically cost me a penny

I dont usually worry about it. When I hit pay out Im happy but if not I think oh well I know I will the next month altough I havent had a problem hitting payout every month since I started. Alittle work go's along way here some days I find.

I got paid for the past 2 months, but this month? Well, I had many days that I didn't make it onto the computer and as a result, I'm way behind on posting and discussions. I won't make my minimum this time, so I'll have to wait until next month. I just hit some slow periods and some time of not finding enough discussions to answer to. I faced this exact same dilema last month. I decided to leave it till this month. Although some days I did not post at all, I am over the payout amount so I can expect my first payout by the 15th of next month. It is only $10 and it's not going to change anything very much at all, so I'd just leave it till next month.

My first month I got paid $24 and right now I have $17+. I haven't been able to post alot because when I do post many it feels like they're only paying me half of what they used to or is it just me? I had a big goal for this month, at least $50 posting and replying 100 to 200 times per day. I guess I gotta count my posts to make sure.

If i were you, i would just not worry about it. If you get it this month, you get it this month. If not, then you have extra cash the next month which is always a great surprise. Dont stress it.
