we use cotton balls with water. now, we use water... baby wipes does not clean entirely and is much expensive... water is free and is the best to use.

I washed using soap and water, always. Not only because wipes are expensive but also not doing the job properly.

I make my own and use the huggies wipes cuz they seem to be the softest and grab everything the best

We use cloth wipes, we run them under some warm water and toss them in the diaper pail, but we use cloth diapers too. We're very cheap!

Well, I got to be different. I use baby wipes on my grandson. I find that they are much softer on the babies skin. But if we run out I will use a washcloth and water. We had some of those soft baby washcloths but I have no idea where they are now. Sometimes my grandson makes such a terrible mess that it is straight to the bathtub.
