Have you ever used these workout videos? If so did you like them? Did you lose weight quickly? Did your tummy get tighter? I want to know before I buy it because it's a bit expensive. Thanks in advance

Do you want my honest opinion ? yes I have bought them , did I stick with it? no I didn't , do I know anyone who did ? No I don't . The best way to loose it is to get a hula hoop ( if you can use it) , If you cant just put on music you really love and do the twist and jive away it is amazing the calories you burn off , I lost almost 5 stones doing this and watchin what I ate 26 years ago then I fell pregnant with my youngest son , My other2 were 17 and 15 lol xx

I wish I could use a hula hoop. Sad to say I was never able to master it. Not even close. That would be inexpensive. I'll try putting on my favorite music and dancing. Thanks for responding.

I'm not sure about yoga, I never tried it much. I found pilates and love it. I dropped a pant size in 3 days. It's not so much weight loss but it tightens all your muscles up fast. Well there was a good amount of weight loss too but the size difference was more noticeable. You need no equipment other than maybe a mat for comfort or a step for an extra work out. I bought a pilates mat work and an aerobic pilates video for under $20 total. You don't even have do do it every day to get results (2-3 times a week works) and each work out only needs to last less than 1/2 hour. You can tighten your tummy, arms, shoulders, chest, butt, calves, outer and inner thighs. It's really easy too!

i haven't tried pilates but have one of those balls. that's really good results. that would be so amazing. i need to tighten up my muscles fast and drop a little bit of weight. that's not expensive either. i love not having to do it everyday. i dont like excercise much anyways. i'm just trying to get motivated. thanks for letting me know i'll check it out. thanks for responding

I never bought any of these videos but I have neough info to tell you that if you're buying them simply for losing fat or reducing your tummy, than there's nothing better than jogging or other simple exercises for the abdomen that you probably already know or could find in an encyclopaedia. They are very reliable.

The only problem for me with jogging is I have some kind of problem breathing. I get out of breath quickly and can't hardly breath. I hate it because I wish I could jog. I do walk a bit but it's not enough and right now it's cold and snowy. Thanks for responding.

I've seen those commercials and it seems interesting. I've wondered the same thing. If it really works, if it's fun, etc etc. If I ever get my hands on a video and get the motivation to actually try it out, I'll let you know.

Question, is it like yoga and you need to be smaller to do something like this? I tried yoga classes and I was the biggest girl in the class. I was approximately 100 pounds overweight. I didn't feel comfortable doing it. I only ended up doing 2 classes and then I quit.

Well the benefit of doing a DVD at home is that you are at home and dont have to worry about being uncomfortable around others....I would suggest though that if you are still overweight and interested in yoga for example...get some dvds for at home or find a class that are geared for larger ppl...

you don't need to be smaller to do this. it is like yoga but you are dancing, doing some ballet and yoga as well. plus you'll be at home so you won't be uncomfortable. also there is Hip Hop Abs by Shaun T. it's a bit expensive though. that's why i'm going with yoga booty ballet. but one guy lost 50 pounds with Shaun T. There were amazing results. hope that helps ya. thanks for responding

Yes I used to many Years ago and they do help but it depends how often you do them a week really and of course that you do them right lol. Please do not overdo at the beginning or you will be sore lol

I plan to do it about 3 times a week at least. I know overdoing it can really hurt you in the long run. Thanks for responding gabs.

I doubt it unless you are well disciplined. I have seen the commercials and have even bought some crap like that before. They did not work for me at all. I think I can do regular crunches and get the same affect.

I havent tried the series myself but I have seen the informercials and a gf of mine tried it and liked it but I have no idea how effective it was for her....Have you looked on Ebay for them? Sometimes you can find informercial items on Ebay for cheaper than at the product site OR try sites like "As Seen On TV" sometimes you can get great deals from those places too....

That looks really cool. As for someone who said you need to be smaller, you don't have too! They always have modified yoga, pilates. There is always someone on there who does the modified version so you can see it. I bought Winsor Pilates and it really does work. I have a big roll on my belly and I can still get it done. Granted, I don't get as much of a roll in as they do but I get it in and it works. My daughter does ballet and has a ballet video and most of the moves on her help video really work the muscles so I can't see how it doesn't help.
