My nine year old daughter has to finish reading a book by the first week in March. She then has to complete some open-ended questions about the book. She tells me the book is boring. It's about a dog. She loves dogs. I have tried to find her books that would intrest her. Every book she picks up, she says I hate this book. I don't like reading. Can anyone please give me some tips. I am desperate. She is 9 years old and has ADD and Biploar Disorder which makes things more difficult.

Maybe it's not about the story. Try to give her a book with so many picture in it, like dog encyclopedia or something else. Pictures stimulate children brain more than reading.

That is a good idea. Unfortunately, she is required to read a book at least 150 pages long with very few pictures. I wish she loved to read.
