Are you making this up? It costs a fortune to buy a video card with 1 GB of memory on it. Most people don't need more than a 256MB video card. SLI refers to technology used to combine TWO video cards. That technology is reliant on your motherboard. X16 is a speed that applies to a PCI Express bus. X8 is typically an AGP bus.

just try to look for the AGP section. basically price is proportional with the performance. so the more money you can spend the more performance you can gain.
