Hi Pinay. I have a brother who has already migrated to canada together with his family and I have a sister working there. The processing for immigrant (permanent resident) visa takes a lot of time depending on your qualifications. There is a long list of requirements too that you need to submit. You can log on to this site http://www.manila.gc.ca so you will know the requirements and steps you will do. You can download the application form for immigrant visa there too. But first you have to do a self assessment whether you are qualified as an immigrant, you can find that also from the site I mentioned.

If you're wanting to apply as a skilled worker, this website tells you pretty much everything you need to do through the application process. I think you can download all the forms and stuff too. www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/how-1.html good luck!

Why do you not go to the Canadian Embassy and ask what you need and where do you get all your information, and forms, I am sure they would assist you.
