Most Happiest People In The World..

The laughter of a child.. - Most innocent and most pure smiles coming from children. They never seem to wonder what problems are all about, they just play and enjoy life..

According to a survey done worldwide, filipinos are the most happiest people on the planet. Although alot of unnecessary things that are happening here and there, crisis on the economy and political frenzy, filipinos do know how to find their ways to enjoy life and laugh at their problems. They do still offer their brightest smiles to every people that they meet.. So do you think this is true? I know that most of us filipinos do find time to laugh and forgot the problems that we are facing at the moment. Agree or not, please share your views!;)

I really agree with you raijin. Filipinos can consider as one of the most happiest people on the planet no matter how our economy was facing or no matter how many typhoons we are going through or no matter how many times the cost of the fuel and the fare increased we still managed to laugh and have good quality time with our families. We might not be classified as develop our 1st world country but we are proud to have a quality time shared with family and that for me matters for we only passed in this world once and wealth is just a bank statement who made you power to purchase things but happiness is something you can't buy.

I think you may be right. I am not Filipino, but I have many friends who are and they are always very sweet, kind, smiling and gerally happy. Even during their darkest hour they seem to outwardly happy. I love their personalities and their culture.

The ability to laugh at oneself sounds like a good start. Although I don't know that much about your country and culture (Amm learning more everyday here though), I believe it is religious and family oriented. Thise are also important element s for happiness.

yep! that's us! We are definitely the happiest people on the planet. You can see the proof everywhere. I mean just watch the news.Somebody got killed in metro manila and the reporter is interviewing the witness...but just behind their back is a small crowd waving and smiling for the camera. There's even no attempt to act really sad or scared about the crime. children and adults alike are just waving happily. :)

The concept of happiness, or satisfaction with life meaning good health, wealth and access to education i would say the people of Denmark. I have relatives there (migrated) that are happy not any mentally, physically but also financially. I guess it depends on the government of the country that makes the people happy. So far denmark government has a lot of privileges to its people like free education, encourages vacation etc.. well if this is a happy life i guess i would like to live there too. =)

I guess this survey is in a way right...I am a Filipino and I've had a couple of foreigner friends and acquaintances. It really shows that Filipinos are more lighthearted, flexible, and adaptable to any situations. But am not saying that the people from the other sides of the earth don't know how to smile at all, of course they do.
