Ryan Giggs goal against Lille - should it be allowed

I cannot see what Lille have to complain about. Quick taken free kicks happen all the time in premiership. They should have been paying more attention. Does anyone agree with Lille on this subject? Is so, can you explain why please

I think that Lille is just trying do get a rematch or something like that. Well lets face it. It was pretty unusual situation, wasn't it?

I have never seen anything like it. Would not have liked to have been there

Withing the rules & even ethical, In fact I'd say its more to do with quick thinking. As Tony pointed out, if Drogba or Henry were to do it, We Mancs might not like it. Its the same thing with everyone. When things are going for you, you like it, else you point fingers. I think Lille SHOULD have had a player standing on the ball or rather on the spot since Rooney bought it there...Even I do it when I play football in the park nearby.. Big deal, I dont care what the people think, we've got a good away result in the CL & hopefully we'll progess to the next round. Cheers.

Lille are just sore losers.. c'mon.. in epl, henry is doing this all the time. Chelsea is doing this too! and in fact in singapore league, this thing happens. Lille should stop shifting blame and start worrying about the next leg.
