A pups eyes normally open around the 2 week mark, but they change color within the first year too normally so you won't normally see that natural color right off, once they open it'll look like a whiteish film over them, don't worry about that,it'll go away ater a few days. they won't be able to focus at first, but in just a couple 3ish days they should be seeing like a darn.

Thanks, I knew you would know the answer. My b/f said 5 days so all day I have been going out there looking at them to see if their eyes were open and nothing yet.

Puppies open their eyes about nine to eleven days following birth. At first, the retina is poorly developed and their vision is poor. Puppies are not able to see as well as adult dogs. In addition, puppies ears remain sealed until about thirteen to seventeen days after birth, after which they respond more actively to sounds. I had a puppy that knew me by my smell and by my voice and would always root around until I picked him up. It isthe same with cats too.
