Do you Think Warlocks are Overpowered?

I have a Level 70 warlock, 63 priest, and a 56 druid. I also have several characters in their 20s and have pvped with them. Although at the lower levels it probably doesn't show much about the differences with each classes. I have dueled with my warlock and have had my wins and losses. I have done battlegrounds and arenas and have also had my wins and losses. Some of my friends who play hunter, paladin, shadow priest, retro pally, and frost mage have not been able to beat me lately. When the new patches came out before the expansion my pally friend and hunter friend could annilate me almost instantly. Now since I reached 70, and am destruction spec with high crits and instant casts, I'm tougher to beat. I still can be annilated though so I am not invincible. It just bothers me though, when I beat someone they just say it's cause I'm a warlock. I think I play my class well, and I think that all classes have their disadvantages and advantages. Do you think there is one class more powerful and above all??

No, I don't think one class is more powerful and above all. All of the classes are powerful in their own right. There is, however, a difference in the way the toons are spec'd.

Yes, I agree. They are all powerful in different ways and it depends on which class is versus what.

Yes and no. A lot of classes have advantages over the others, but being a warlock doesn't make you all powerful. As a matter of fact, before level 42, a warlock is a walking target for rogues and warriors. Palidans are a pain with their bubble, and other warlocks are a pain to go up against. However, I think it also has to do with the player. Some people aren't warlock material, and some are. It's the ones who are good with their warlocks who make 1x1 fights with warlocks a pain.

Yes! Some people are warlock material and some aren't! It really matters on the player. Some shamans can kick my butt and some are just food for my felhunter, ect.

Well, the Warlock class was overpowered pre TBC since you can dot and fear almost perpetually. But there are really no classes that's above all other classes since each class has an anti-class. You just have to know how to play your toon.

my thoughts exactly. The only class I really have troubles beating as of now are warriors who are immune to fear that do uber damage, and those rogues that constantly stun me. I may be a lock, but I'm still squishy. :)

Warlock = EZ Mode. pre TBC I saw a warlock do an 11K Crit! ELEVEN THOUSAND DAMAGE IN ONE HIT! that can like uber own, especially against leeroy jenkins

i wonder what kind of gear they had. I had tier 2 before the expansion. I am a destruction lock and the highest crit I ever had was about 5k but that was using Curse of Doom and you can not use that on an actual player. Crits against other players have never went that high for me. Hmm.... Lock was the first character I ever made and levelled. I had no other friends who played WoW before me really. So when I rolled lock, I didn't know they'd be such damage machines. I got lucky. :)
