I want to study Business Administration, but I live in Guatemala. I was wondering about the possibility of getting my degree online. Has anyone here done that? What did you think? Is it worth a try?

I am currently taking online courses. Try Kaplan University. www.kaplan.edu They will guide you all of the way through the admissions process. They are really great. I am taking Business Management. Like any other school, there are requirements. You have to turn in work on time and all that good stuff. But it is all very easy, and they will work with your schedule. I would reall look them up and see what they can do for you. They also have scholarships that may be able to get you in free like thy did me. They will also set you up with financial aid.

Thanks, that sounds like what I´m looking for. Plus the requirements would ensure that I actually study! :)

I'm not actually studying online for my degree, but I am taking some online classes for my degree. Tuition wise, it's sometimes a little more expensive, but the lack of commuting and certain registration costs would make up for that, I'm sure. It's a great way to learn, if you're dedicated enough. It takes a lot of discipline for someone to sit down and actually study online. This is probably because of a mentality that you could study anytime. Because of this, some people procrasinate and don't actually sit down and work until the last minute. They keep putting it off until the due date for their work is finally upon them and they haven't got anything done. My advice to you is that, if you have a habit of putting things off until the last minute, you might want to reconsider taking courses online. If you think you could actually be dedicated enough to do it, though, then have at it. I wish you luck.

There are a couple of Universities which offer degrees online, like University of Phoenix. But I think it's for post-graduate studies? I'm sure there are some. Just make sure where you're getting it is authentic and would be credited in a lot of other places too.
