Hi All! I have been racking my brain to come up with song ideas for a CD I'm making for my cousin for her new baby that is due in a month. She is having a baby boy and likes a lot of different music but does like country also. I am trying to make them either be about having a baby, starting a family, or songs to a child from a parent (i.e. I hope you Dance by Lee Ann Womack). Any help would be greatly appreciated since Google does not seem to be working for me much. The songs I have so far are: Two People Fell in Love by Brad Paisley Watching You by Rodney Atkins Love Without End Amen by George Strait Rich Man by Mark Wills Heroes by Paul Overstreet You're Having My Baby by Paul Anka I Hope you Dance by Lee Ann Womack Let Mercy Lead by Rich Mullins

Wow Debbie welcome back, I have been watching for you, and have missed you. Your discussions were getting quite fasinating, then poof you were gone :)) There are 3 that pop into my mind right away the first one is from Beaches and by Bette midler called Baby Mine. She does a wonderful job with it. The second is Cat Stevens Cats Cradle. The third is Art Garfunkles Whos gonna shoe those pretty little feet. I know I am showing my age here LMAO the others that I can think of have been mentioned already or you have in your list. Again Welcome back and do not be such a stranger any more. Tammi

I don't really want songs for the baby at this point, more for the parents, but the particular songs you listed are good, i'd forgotten about Butterfly Kisses. I'll have to check out the others as I haven't heard them. Thanks for your help!
