im from the philippines and one time for three years i worked in taiwan. at first, working in a foreign land seems hard knowing that you will be away from your family and communications and the food of your host country seems totally out of your vocabulary and intestines. but in the end you will get to learn the beauty of their culture.

No not yet, but i do hope to someday since salaries here in the philippines are not really capable of taking care of a family. I do plan to work at Japan as an occupational therapist or a nurse though, since they really have a diversed culture and a different language which im very interested in learning. I like to go there since its the nearest asian country i know and at least long distance rates will not be that expensive when i call my family. And most of all... They have snow... =)

you better learn the language soonest, i think prerequisite is that you speak the language since you'll be working in a health care facilities and communications is quite important, no room for mistakes here.

No I have not worked in another country. Do you want to go further away from home? I have only visited other countries - it must be alot different to be in a foreign country for so many years. Are you back home now?
