Spouses with different beliefs

What does change of religion inflict on marriage?

Of course it has an affect. If your beliefs are truly important to you than you are gonna want to stand by those, and if you both share different beliefs, it leads to fighting. The best thing to do is just agree not to discuss it, and leave it at that.

I was the one who changed religion. After hurting each other's feelings, I decided not to go to my church anymore but instead live the lessons I learned from it(belief). I guess I dont have religion now. I am just holding to three remaining beliefs that I keep alive in my heart.

I think it depends on the people but can see this causing problems at some time. The best situation would be for both spouses have the same beliefs.

That was our situation before. All of a sudden, I felt something that there is so much more to know about life. After all the pain we went through, I keep my faith and he keeps his. The only difference is I gave up going to my church and left only with 3 things I learned from that religion just to at least minimize the argument or balance the boat.
