When you go on a shopping spree for yourself what do you end up spending the majority of the money for, is it clothing, shoes, make-up, bath supplies, hobby materials, hardware, games, etc.? Every time I set out to purchase myself something new like clothes I always end up first buying stuff for other people, because they must be easier to please. LOL Then I get stupid stuff like a new video game, a tool of some sort that is real unique or something for my garden. I never end up with the clothes, shoes and pampering stuff I set out for. What do you buy for yourself?

I don't spend a lot of money on clothing or shoes. In fact, I often get my clothes at yard sales. I spend more money on makeup, at least foundation. I buy Merle Norman but the rest of the stuff I get at Walmart and keep for a long time. I did spend quite a bit on crafting supplies (polymer clay) until I started getting 40% off coupons from Hobby Lobby. That helped alot.

purchasing at the computer - save save save
I find I save on shipping taxes gas by buying online when I can. It is extremely efficient and gives me more time in mylot.

most of the time, i just plan on going to the mall and see what's new and not planning to buy anything at all. but, i always end up bringing new clothes when arriving at home. there are even times that i don't go to women's clothes section so i can't be tempted to buy anything. but most of the time, i just can't resist it. i also love buying cards for my boyfriend. does not matter what the occasion is (mostly, i send him cards when there are no occasions at all). i just feel like i wanna send him cards to make him feel i remember him most of the time.

I usually shop for clothings, because I like to dress up whenever I go out. I like to look for some things that are new, and find some of it that I can afford. Not to mention also that whenever I go shopping, I shop for almost everything that I need to wear for a day. From shoes, pants, shirts, socks belts and up to my own underwear!;)

When I go for shopping, I spend most of my money on food and grocery items. After spending to my heart's desire, I spend the rest of the money on toilet items and cosmetics. When I buy food items, I forget about all other things. Any new food item, fast food, fresh vegetables, new spices, new food mixes, and any new products in exciting packages, always gets my full attention. Often I get confused, and my shopping companion sees me standing confused and puzzled, with 3 or 4 packets in my hand. Toilet items, are my next choice, when I have finished buying grocery items. I love experimenting with all new releases in the market, and am not much concerned about sticking to any one brandname.

Usually,I spend money on books and when I am in a shopping spree ,I buy many many more books, lol.Just that I take chances with books.Even if I don't know the author and have a gut feeling that it's going to be a good buy,I go for it.But other than books it's gadgets. They are more expensive than books ,but that doesn't deter me from trying them out when I feel rich, lol.Oh ,and I also buy good presents for friends who are good to me ,LOL.Nah,just kidding.I buy presents when I think they are going to like it and wait till it's their birthday before I present it.

I went through this faze once until I ran out of space for books. Now I pace myself and try to not go crazy on the books.

I depends on the season now if we are in the spring time and Im shopping I will buy all kinds of things for my garden that I would have just planted. And maybe a nice spring outfit. And if its winter time then I would buy myself something in the craft isle. And of course somekind of warm sweater for myself or my sweet hubby.

I would have to say bath and shower gel. I love different scents and like swapping them out on a daily basis for another scent! I usually have 3-4 different kinds/brands/scents in bathroom at all times. When I find something new or a new scent, I have to buy it!

I don't buy much for myself usually. I'm usually buying for other people. But when I do buy for myself then I'll spend lots of money on bath stuff (from Bath and Body Works--I love that place) and I like new clothes too so that's mainly what I spend my money on when I buy stuff for me. And then I like to scrapbook too so I buy new stuff to work on my scrapbooks too.

When shopping for myself I spend the most on shirts/tops. This is out of necessity due to my body build. The manufactureres have it in for large-busted women....there are few shirts that will fit and when you find them they tend to cost an arm and leg!

WMG, you simply must start buying some things that you use to pamper yourself with. You just feel better! I love creams, makeup, clothes, jewelry, etc. There is this store I go to all the time. It is called Gabe's or Gabriel's. They have everything and at excellent prices. I just got a jean vest for a dollar was part of set to jeans I bought there a few weeks ago. They have apple bottoms, and lots of designer items. They have it all and I cannot get over the prices. Kimberly

My Achilles' heel is BPAL perfume and Lush. www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com sells the most unique and beautiful perfume blends I've ever known and when they have a special edition scent I can't resist! www.lush.com is the other one. I'm an addict. I also have trouble passing up a nice item of clothing on eBay. I don't let myself go on anymore!

Every time I go for shopping, I will list down the necessities on a piece of paper. Then I will go and find the things I have to buy. After buying all the needful things, I would check whether I have balance in my wallet. If I do, then I'll go and find other things for myself. I am not constant with what I will purchase more than others. At some time, I will buy clothes. The other time I would buy shoes, etc. However, shopping spree is always a lot of fun.

I hate to go shopping.I must be the only female in the world who does not like to shop. I hardly ever buy myself anything. I do purchase perfume. I am very picky as to the scents that I wear and I will spend alot of money on just the right scent. I only wear Estee Lauder Pleasures or Estee Lauder Intuition.

The #1 item I spend my money on is(are?) books and magazines. I love to read. Then comes writing materials. Get me into Staples or Office Depot in the pen department and I go HOG-WILD. Next comes dining out. I love good food, intersting food, edible food!! LOL I used to spend lots of money on scrapbooking material, but I have made up my mind not to purchase any more of that stuff until I get my craft room in order.
