As i am yet to buy the digital, so I do keep photographs in album, I have also scanned them all and keep in computer as well.Albums are something permanent, comuters you have to format at times.

I prefer to keep my photos in albums, but I am afraid i am a little behind on that. Most of our photos from the last three years or so can only be found on cds and the computer.

I love scrapbooks and I love to be able to get them out and look through the pics whenever I want to. Digital pics are nice but I love looking through photo albums! Plus with scrapbooking I can be creative with them!

Well both for me. I have lots of photo albums and even more pictures to put in photo albums. I have started scanning into the computer to put on discs. I recently got a digital camera and have all those pics on the computer and need to order pics for the photo albums. It really is difficult to keep up with all of it anymore. I sometimes think that it was easier when we just took pictures and got the film developed and put them in albums. Just my 2 cents worth. :)

Photo albums are amazing .. doesn't it feel great to pull out an album and go over pictures with your friends or family ? You don't always have to pull the laptop / computer out to show the pictures. Before I got my digital camera, all my photos went into albums. Between 1999 and 2002 - I managed to build up a collection of 10 photo albums - all with 200-300 pictures each. The rest of the photos I have after that are all on my laptop - separated into folders with dates. When a year is over, I start a new folder marked with the year and put the photos in there by date all over again Photo albums can get quite heavy and difficult to carry around. They are best kept at home - especially for the older photos. Nowadays its much simpler carrying either a digital camera, memory stick and keeping your favourite photos on hand. By storing images on a computer, you can back them up, transfer to CD and even print the pictures if you really want a hard copy.

Because of my digital camera I have tons of cd's with all my pictures on them . I don't use albums anymore . The albums I do use are my scrapbooking albums , when I want to do up a page , I print one out a couple of pictures from my cd's and then make up my page . I don't feel that one is better then the other just a different way of doing things now .
