OnLine Data Entry Sites

Has anyone tried these "so-called" online data entry programs. I hate to admit that I recently got duped by one and would like to know I'm not alone. It cost $50, gives you a bunch of useless stuff and a link to a FREE affiliate website that's been overused to the point that you don't have a chance of selling one of their programs. I purchased this on Friday, already decided it was crud and requested a refund today. The site says it has a money back guarantee so we'll see. It's just a shame that these sites are out there waiting on people desperate for an extra income like me to take advantage of. So if you haven't already tried one these, DON'T, they do not deliver on their promises.

Most of such sites are set up for scamming the internet public. They promise you a fortune but have nothing to offer. They are sites where you can make good money with a little effort on your part. If you can spend $50 then you should be doing something more rewarding than data entry.

Yes, that is why I promptly asked for a refund when I realized I had been had. I think I must just be too trusting. That $50 can be much better spent somewhere else in my household. I think one of the main things that gets you is the testamonials, after I paid the money and got access to the site though, I found out that they had contests with cash prizes to increase positive statements.

I got duped as well! I purchased a very similar work from home program that ended up being an affiliate website and was exactly the way yours was. On the bright side, I requested a refund about 3 or 4 days later and I DID receive my refund a couple of weeks after that...so I'm sure you'll receive yours as well if there is a money back guarantee. I have been researching work at home opportunities for a while now and there are genuine opportunities out there...but the one thing I have learned is that the real ones will NOT ask you for money so you can work for them. I would say out of all the work at home sites you will find on the internet...about 15% are legitimate. You won't be rich, but you can make an okay income mostly doing call center, or customer service work over the phone. There are a few data entry companies that outsource their work to telecommuters, but they are hard to get into as they fill up quickly. There are some agencies that will have you work as a virtual assistant, but you have to have a quiet space to work, a fax and up-to-date computer, a landline, and a printer. All in all, I would say if you are serious about this, make sure you document any paychecks and your time spent. A good chunk of these companies will have you become an independent contractor for them, not an actual employee...so you will have to fill out a 1099 tax form for miscellaneous income at the end of the year and you need to keep good records of your earnings so you don't get into trouble with the government. Hope that was somewhat helpful. I am looking forward to taking advantage of some of these opportunities myself, but I need to update my computer and get a landline first...which of course...takes money :(

A Good idea would of been to first check them out with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB) I've been searching and checking many many sites through the BBB site. I must confess that I myself just spent $39.95 today to assemble crafts from home. I should have mu kit within 10 days and get started on it. They pay you 1-2 dollars a piece for each handcrafted magnet you make for them. I did check them out with the BBB and they have a good standing with them. Plus the fact that the company is located in my home state like 40 minutes from my home town. I am hoping this will work for me...time will tell...

I hope your craft business works for you. I checked into that type of work once and read on the internet that it's sometimes hard to make money because your product has to be to their exact specifications. They don't decide if it's up to par until you send them in and then they only pay you for the ones that pass inspection. Please let me know how it goes since this is something I could do if it's legit. I already crochet granny squares and auction them for extra money.
