If you had a million dollars to give to a cause or charity that is close to your heart, or whose work you'd like to aid, which would get your finacial support?

I would have to give teh money to the American Diabetic Association and the American Cancer Society. the reason that I would give to these two charities is because The American Cancer Society has helped out many people that I know and care about and the American Diabetic Association because I and my mother are both Diabetic. Have a great day!!

Both good choices, my mother was also a diabetic and passed away from cancer even though she never smoked or drank!

If I had that much money to give for a charitable cause, I would choose that for street children. These kids are the most difficult to educate, are often victims of syndicates, and have their futures compromised. Children, as a whole, is the future of the world. What a pity if they couldn't be given proper attention because of poor economy.

You are so right. The difference many times between successful people and criminals is education! A person will do what they have to in order to survive. Although no one likes crime, I do think we can help reduce it's numbers.

I would be giving a lot to our church, and also to a lot of animal foundations, along with children foundations.

Good choices. There are so many children and animals that suffer unbearably at the barbaric hands of others. These are such innocent victims who have no voice.

There are so many, I've never been in a position to think about where my charitable contributions would be the first to consider. Most likely some kind of children's fund for those who can't fight for their own human rights, such as abused or neglected children or some kind of agency that speaks for children's rights or for those who are terminally ill. This is really a good question for discussion you thought of to ask. I really had to think about this one. God bless.

I'd probably split them between Worldvision and Compassion International. The other choice for me would be India YFC because I know them personally and know they do a lot of good work!
