Being held captive--no way out!

Have you ever been held captive? I was held captive in the 90's. The more powerful a man is the less you can do anything about it if you ever get away. After being held captive for 3 days in my own home, he finally left. Only because he had to go to work. He was a physician and was the only doctor in his office. He had two offices. Somedays he was in the one office and others, he was in the one that was in his home. He had no choice but to go. After he did, there was no way I could call the police because they would have never believed me. Knowing all my efforts to have him arrested would have backfired, he would have done something even worse. You have a better chance of doing something, if the person is just an everyday person...but a doctor or a lawyer or someone with money...not unless there are others who have gone through it and you can band together.

Thank you for your kind words. If I had reported him, I think I would have had to pay for it dearly. I found out that one of the women he dated prior to his life with me, that he tried to break her legs. She pressed charges. However, she dropped them and it does not take much for me to figure out why. That was in a different city.
