How do you get your referrals to work?

Why, by lying to them of course! Here's the thing with new people. They're unwilling to start. So tell them all the good things about mylot and add a little more here and there. That will encourage them to atleast start. In the first few days they'll be typing a lot, hoping to earn some money but most will get disheartened and leave. One of the best things to do is give them a best response. Give them one now and then even though their response isn't really the best. This will make them feel more appreciated and they'll stay..atleast longer. haha What do you think?

Why do i have to lie? *curious* Why can't i be honest and just say that mylot is a fantastic forum and i have made a lot of friends here and I enjoy the conversations!! I try to comment on each and every one of my friends and referrals conversations when they start them - it's only fair and this way i find i have a large varity of mylot questions in my inbox each morning to answer. I've found that the best proof about mylot has been showing the receipt from paypal saying that i've actually been paid ... there are too many sites out there that are scams and you spend so much time trying to make money ... just to get nowhere. I think attitudes towards mylot are different when you have proof of payment compared to when you don't. Personally I don't blame people for being sceptical to start off with but once you get going - most people realise how addictive it is here!!

Why do I say lie here? Because to some people it is a lie. I feel that MyLot is great and all but others might not feel the same. I have a referral who complained that he was making more enemies than friends. It's not anyone else's fault if the guy has a nasty attitude and can't make friends but I lied to him anyway and told him that people here are nice and open minded and will talk about anything. He dropped to a 2 rating from a 5 haha I don't think he's coming back anymore so I can post this.

I can see what you mean - mylot can only work if we all respect others opinions even if we don't agree with them. You didn't lie to him ... the people -well 99% - are nice here and open minded.

Yes, it is diffcult to make the downline to work hard. In some program, I got a lot referral, but I find some of them never active, it make me feel sad, but I cannot taold them to work hard for me, it depend the downline how to make money online. In some program, I got some good downline and they are do a cool job, I love them.

That's pretty dispersed. ;) Could try sending them a few emails. That usually works.

I'm still working on that. I think you need to find people who are eager to discuss online. Most people don't have time to do it since they are already tired after working all day especially if the payment is little. However, there are some exceptions.

Uh... if you ever give me a best response, I am SO gonna know you're lying! Although you didn't refer me, so I guess it wouldn't matter? I think Mylot is great! I've only been on here one day and I already made sixteen cents! Not bad!

Haha Yeah! I love people with a sense of humor :) Well, by lying to them I don't mean that you know, you tell them an outright lie..some people don't realize how great mylot is. Some of my referrals make enemies here instead of friends and complain about it and said that I was lying to him about making friends here. The best response is just an encouragement :)

well, getting referrals is good, but without any is no big deal. now I havent any referral, but I am doing fine with mylot. I think I would rather spent more time on posting here than using all means to get referrals to work. Have a good day.

Since mylot is so great why should I have to lie about it? I preffer to tell them the truth about it. If they like it they will stay if they don't then it's their loss. Lieing to get people to do what you want them to is very dishonest.

LOL, that is a very effective way I think, but how do I marked best response for someone who hasn't starting responding yet! I have 13 referrals not one active. They of course joined because I told them I made money here. If I could only get them to start working then I can think about motivating them..hehe I sent them messages telling them to check my discussions for a start. But still nothing..nada!

The thing about any kind of network marketing is that not ALL your referrals are going to work. Some don't care, some think they sign up for "free money," some are bored, some were just "doing you a favor" by signing up. In most cases, you're best off figuring out who is genuinely interested, and focusing your efforts on encouraging and helping them. A little deception like you suggest might get someone going in the SHORT run, but probably won't do much to keep them happy in the long run. People stay active because they (a) enjoy what they are doing and/or (b) see ongoing results. Of course, I can only speak from personal experience... your results may vary... :-D

Yes you are right it is a good idea but first we must know from where to get referrals because it is a very difficult thing to get them, after getting them I don't mind at all to give them best response. lol. Thank you.

Well if you've experienced mylot early on then you wouldnt have to lie to your referrals because what youre saying really happened to you! A little sympathy and relation can help too! If you tell them youve been there and where you are now, they'll be more encouraged.

Lying doesn't work for anything. If anything once they find out that you lied to them they will just quit. Instead you need to figure out just how mylot really works and then guide them.
