Are you getting what you want out of your job?

I was startled to learn that according to published surveys, very high percentage of workers occupy the wrong job for them. A lack of contentment pervades the workplace. In hot pursuit of good life, most men don't find God's pleasure but, instead, find contentment elusive and misterious. They are not doing what they really would like to do, but work on because they are trying to maintain a lifestyle, impress other people, please families, build an empire, win the rat race,or live out of their fantasies.

The published surveys seem to be very much correct . Even in my society I cant find more than 1% people who are happy with there job. And most of these 1% are old age people who are close to retiring and they have done the same job for years .One more thing I want to mention is that with lifestyle etc. sometimes responsiblity also plays an important role .

I also do agree with you in terms of the enormous responsibilities we ought to take to hurdle the race. It's true that we must pursue our jobs with pleasure, satisfaction, sense of accomplishments if we recognize God's master plan for us.

I am perfectly fit to my job.I a dreamer. Therefore my "job" applies perfectly(i'm an artist). It's not a job that will make me the next Rockefeller, but i enjoy it so much that i don't care about the money.I guess this is one of the reasons why I don't go berserk if i'm left with no money once in a while. I think that everybody sshould do what they like to do.If you enjoy archeology, then you should fight until you got that diploma and start digging !If you enjoy cooking..you should do that for a living! There is nothing in the world you can not to if you are willing to do it and fight for it.
