I know as i have played more and more my liking has worn off a bit, but when i was in my 2nd month i was playing like 3 hours a day. And what was weird is i didn't know why i was playing it so much. I mean it doesn't really make sense... not to diss the game but what is the point really? I mean you get good so you can stand around and show off your good armor and be really rich. Yet somehow i see past that and play 3 hours a day. How much do you play?

Yes, most video games in life are considered "obsessive" especially if there are updates weekly so you can look forward to. The point of the game is that you feel relieved from playing after a hard day of work. When you play all your worries go away even if they are temporarily. This is natural for any game so even if you are addicted it is normal unless you play games till the wee hours before morning. The point is also to have FUN! Because most games you would quit immediately if it got boring, otherwise this game if FUN to you.

I play for several hours a day. It can be addictive. I know a way that you can get a free members account. You create a Paypal account first. Then you join a only survey site that pays you money into your paypal. then you use your paypal for runescape. here is a link to a good paid survey site. http://www.fusioncash.net/?ref=Tallison18

The same problem that happend to you also happend to me but and that was because i played runescape for a year as a non member and i used to play for atleast two hours a day and then i started to realize that runescape become boring but then my friend told me that the reason why it has become a boring game was because i needed to become member so i did and runescape was fun again. therefor if your findimg that playing runescape is boring then i suggest you become a member because then there is tons of stuff to do and a lot of new features that non members dont have.

Yes I find it a bit obsessive but it is just a game like the xbox 360, playstation 3, and wii. It's just something we do when we get bored is my guess. I mean really it's no different than that. I play very little now that I have started this, gotten a lot of homework, and attempting to get a membership. I don't much care to show off my armor, as I dislike the armor because everyone wears it. I would prefer to show off my wealth, and use my knowledge to help me make things for my blogs about runescape.

In a few weeks will be about the third year mark of when I started playing Runescape. Like all games, they don't really provide a "physical" goal or prize, but more mentally. In any game, the point of it is to make and find goals. I find Runescape to be very fun as the updates never stop. I'm currently a member with a large amounts of paying sites though E-Gold, PayPal, and Moneybookers. During the summer or vacation, I clocked in at nearly 8 hours of playtime. Not exactly something to brag about as it is a massive amount of time. The game is addictive in many ways. Many get turned off my the game's graphics but I'm shocked that they would complaint. What game offers a large amount of Free Service on a Java Engine?
