I went into an internet cafe and people there are turning their heads. Am I too old to enter an internet cafe?

They say it's hard to teach old dogs new tricks, but they did not say it is impossible... in that case it is true though, my mom and dad do not even know how to use the cellphone before, and it was soooooo hard to teach them, it's like they never grasp the idea of what I am teaching them. I would teach them now then tomorrow it's like it is the first time they'll use it again, and the torture goes on and on.. But then, they started to learn how to play the games in the phone, later on they know how to call, then they learned texting, whoa am I happy. Then they started playing games in the computer, and yes they also forget how to open and close it the next day, and same goes for quite some time, later on I taught them to use the internet and I was fascinated that now they can actually use the computer! I cannot even remember how frustrating it was having to repeat and repeat myself then, but it has been proven that we will never be too old to learn anything. Maybe we won't really excel in it, but learning the operation and basics is not impossible no matter how old you are.

Oh yeah and I don't like it when people use age as an excuse not to learn things, like when they say "Oh I am too old for that." I think everything is worth trying, at least if you fail you have at least tried.

You are never too old. I work as a library computer tech and I teach classes to people of all ages on how to use computers. The majority of my students are between 40 and 80. The important thing is that you be willing to learn.

Never too old. I am 71, and taught myself to use the computor. Mined u, my speeling is not soo gud, I have truble ceeing the keeys to tipe the letturs and numburs. Strange that a few young people think that the modern technical stuff is only for their use. Who do they think invented all the new stuff? Was it teenagers, or oldies?

you're never too old. I'm 66 and everything I know about computers, I have taught myself. I'm still reading, experimenting and learning.

I don't think that anybody can be too old. Theres no such thing!!! Computers are used for so many things, and if you don't know how to use them, you get frowned upon. I think that anybody, any age, should learn how to use the computer. If they want to. I personally know people who don't want to know how, so I don't push it on them. It's their right to do what they want.
