we cannot explain some of the things by our knowledge sometimes. For example, it seems that foretuneteller can predict the future, and there were some people who can predict what is going to happen, they predict the world war, diaster.. There are much more than foreteller,, some people believe tarot ,some refer to their fate based on their zodiac signs ... etc.. do anyone have any experience on it ? does it work?

The astrologers make predictions which are very general but they usually come true. This happens because they are continuously studying the movements of the heavenly bodies around us and as to what are the significance of these movements to our planet and to its people. Their predictions are not 100% accurate though. So they say, "I can see that there will be more calamities coming to the country this year compared to last year, the economy of the country is likely to be given a boost this time, a war in the middle east is likely to erupt this year," and the like. But fortune tellers claim to be more accurate as they can exactly predict what will happen to your life tomorrow or within a year from now. Don't believe in them, they hardly tell the truth. No one can tell what our future will exactly be.

May be the astrologers find out some pattern or trends of the movement and build up his own prediction and conclusion to something.

While I agree there are to many out there with generalizations and false predictins, based on this, that people can make suit the circumstances, especially say those astrology things in magazines and newspapers, because they are to general, there are smoe reputable people out there who can find some kind of connection, it is what makes me a skeptical believer. There is no exact science when it comes to knowing these things, and we are programed to disbelieve, which can interfere as well. Or we are so hopeful of a particular outcome that we put add ons to things that shouldn't be there. I can well understand why so many disbelieve, there are many prediction claims that also disbelieve.

I have no idea whether these things actually work or not. But I do read my horoscope everyday. It some how just feels nice to read it even if its not true. sometimes it gives you a feeling of having a stronger hold on things.

I beleive in pshcics. I have been to a few and they have all been right in what they have told me. At the same time, you cannot live your life by what they say. If something has happened I think back and say yeah I was told that was going to happen, it gives you a little lift.

I believe that you can predict the future by looking at the past. If you take a careful look at the past you will see that things repeat themselves quite often. As for fortunetellers have a gift to predict the future without looking at the past or they make the prediction broad and you can see it come true in a little thing. Other times I think that when they tell you something you go out of your way to make it true either subconsciously or consciously.

The fortunetellers may only make predictions, they claim success when they are right but remain silence when they are not. You can also make similar predictions.

Can the future be predicted yes and no, yes there are averages and probablities that can happen and those who work with statistics will give a possible / probable projection, Then there are those using runes, cards, astrology, or other methods of psi, esp, divination, to predict the future, but they can only tell you possiblities, because once you know what will happen, then you can change what is going to happen, or ensure that it does. Astrology if using the exact birth time can give you influences that may be happening around you but that doesn't mean you do not have the free will to use those influences or work with them in such a way as to change things. I know many who knew things my grandfather was one of them, it runs in the family in one form or another yet we are skeptical believers, despite seeing with our eyes evidence that this can and has worked, we still have a level of skeptisism due to those fakes, phoneys out there. To many are willing to manipulate others and use their emotional need for guidence as a way to take advantage and make a buck.

Some of them are really good, then some of them just want your money. I am careful with those kinds. I will not give up no money, unless I know for sure that they are good.

while there equal number of people who believe in astrology and also those who dont believe, the planetary position at the time your birth will decide your fate and good or bad incidents are shown by the dasa periods allocated to your chart and are delivered through the transits of these planets. i am into the subject for 5 years now and all the charts i jhave seen and explained proved that astrology does work whether one believes or not. now predicting world war, disasters etc are the mundane aspects and a separate study by itself. how accurately one predicts only depends on the experience gained over the years.

I used to read my Horiscope on a regular basis. One day it said I would meet basically my future wife. I got excited but tried to go about my day as normal. I did not want to jinx it. Well I never meet her until several years later. About the same time I put my faith in God and have never really looked much into fortunetellers and such.

yes i believe it's true sometimes but often can be misleading, and also you don't know if the person who is predicting is honest or a hoax, even those who can really predict do make many mistakes, I saw 2 of them before but didn't want to know my fortune, I believe it would do me no good to know even if it was true, for other people I know it was very accurate for some and kind of 50% true for others..
