Nutty Inventions That Have Recieved Gov't Patents! LOL!

The inventions that some people actually draw and design and then have the nerve to obtain patents on will have you in stitches! I myself will sit around and some times think of the grandest inventions, mainly for solving the world's problems, I think it's a feature of most resourceful people, but it takes BIG ONES to actually seek a patent on whatever little oddity that pops in your head... http://www.patentlysilly.com will make you wonder just what the heck were they thinking (or drinking) to come up with that? I have to say, that was pretty darn interesting....umm...weird at some of the things that they would patent...and still am scratching my head at a few! I couldn't help but giggle at the Weed Cutting Golf Club. Well, I guess someone wants to practice their swing while also taking care of weeds...hey, they are multi-tasking their skill of golf AND getting the yard work done! LOL I am a little confused though about the Retractable Table Top for a Toilet. Umm...WHY would someone want to turn their toilet into a table and then back into a toilet??? I couldn't help but think of a New York apartment where one can pee AND stir the Mac and Cheese on the stove. LOL But, I would not want to change my toilet into a tablet to eat off of. No thanks...I would rather stand. LOL

The Wire Spring Thong made me laugh! :) I could imagine what would happen if the darn thing got stuck and had to be removed with the Jaws Of Life! LOL! But it could probably work for one of my gals who is so skinny that she can't keep a regular thong from "drooping"!
