i think that a child can learn more education at school, because however there there are many rules to respect, while sometimes in families there aren't so many.. if two parents are too permissive the school is indispensable! or not?

I think both. The school where my kids are at is a good school with excellent ofsted and what i do notice the children who attend the school are very well mannered and behaved. Schools like all i would say teach the academic path in life where as a parent i like to teach my kids the tools they need in every day life What i like to do as a parent is to get involved with the kids education and help them with whatever i can, so i generally ask the teachers what areas (academically)need to be addressed I like to teach my kids the reasons of why, where, how things come about and try and get them to understand the reasoning behind everyday things we take for granted in life Sorry to waffle on

I see your reasoning. You need both a home educating parent and school. Both are needed for different reasons.

I think you are correct in that a child will learn a lot more of the social skills required in life by learning at school in a different environment with different people and it's that ability to mix with others and develop relationships that helps people later on in life. Unfortunately, school is not always the right environment for every child because some children need more help on a one to one level or simply are unable to get into their school of choice because of limited number of placements. Personally I would always favour school because I think it gives a wider range of experiences for the child, however I totally understand why parents may have to or choose to teach at home.

I think one of the major plusses of going to school is the learning to socalize and social graces of working with other people. It teaches them people skills if you have bad ones when your older it makes it very hard to keep friends or get a job.

Yah, like parents teach ethics and manners and how to eat right is just as much a part of an education as needing math and reading skills. Also my dad tried to enforce my math lessons by making me review my times tables in the summer months. Plus both of my parents encoraged me to read a lot when I was young.

It depends from my point of view of where the child pass mostly his time.... school and family are both very important for his social grow
