Where are bodies of missing people?

For example, it was a large bomb or crash of a jet. Rescue team found a few people, but there were a lot of people. No bodies, no conclusions. (Even concerning the found remains and bodies, conclusions are weak, because conclusions usually rely on "if".) Where are the bodies? Where could they be? Also it concerns missing keys and things, a missing fish in aquarium etc. Note that relying on a probability is relying on your opinion (where did an opinion come from?).
