My daughter moved in on Monday and I think her cat, Ink Spot, is pregnant. The cat is not that old herself. She is about 10 months old. The cat that was living in the apartment with her was fixed 4 weeks ago but they did catch them having fun. Ink Spot's nipples are bigger, she is not playing as much and she is cuddly and purring. Is their anything else I should look for that will help me confirm this? Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, that is a hard one. I would think that when she was fixed, they would have been able to tell she was pregnant. Either it is her hormones adjusting, or the fixing didn't work. I would call the vet, and relay to them what is going on. They should be able to give you some advice as to what you should do. Good luck, I hope that she is not with kitties.

It sounds like it. I don't know a lot about it but I think when you say her nipples are bigger then I guess that's a sign that she is getting ready to nurse her kittens. Have fun LOL!

I'm sorry, I can't think of anything else - sounds pregnant to me. She's not much older than my cat, Indy (short for Independance, she was born the 4th of July). You may want to check with the vet but most cats manage everything fine themselves.

Sigh everything my cat is doing... Its been 3 weeks sence mine got out. Is her belly getting rounder? She starting to feel heavier? How is her eating?
