understanding all religion is necessary in order to boost our believe in god ?

very rare people try to understand different religions .some people judge bad of other's religion for the sake of boosting their believe . I think it's really necessary to understand other's religion before judging . Their is not religion encourage human to do robe ,lie ,kill ...

I agree with you. There is a lot of judgement among religious people, in their different belief system. I do not think one is better then the other. Religion is a personal experience. You meet others who also share your experence, then that is good, and so you form a church. How can you then decide you are "IT". I can not stand to hear people being knocked because of their different views. It is that type of thing that turns people off of religion. God is love and his message was not have religions turn against each other. Fanatics aren't living God's law, but somehow those individuals think they are. It is scary.

totally agree. God is love . If we have love we will solve everything right ,no discrimination , no dirty business .

Well.. it better if we have a brief background of the different religions that are currently practiced today. It will give us a deeper insight and a broader understanding of the different people we meet or interact with, like here at myLot since this is an international site, and a lot of people with an assortment of religions participate in the discussions. At least if we have a brief background on what other religions are like, at least we may be able to avoid offending others unknowingly and at least it will give us a broader perspective and respect for others' opinion.

First off I want to say that this is a great topic so thank you for starting it....secondly I agree with you 100% I think it is very important and beneficial to everyone if ppl stepped outside their comfort zone and learned about other religions from the proper sources of course...(for example, dont go to a Catholic to find out about Wicca etc)...Not only would learning about other religions broaden our minds but it also helps to connect with others, be more understanding of others, teaches our children to be more compassionate and have loving kindness to their classmates, neighbours, friends etc etc and ultimately it would lessen the violence, hatred and fear that is out there due to ppl not knowing the truth about each others lifestyles, religions and so on...

ohhh as far as i know about guran , there is no dozen times to muder non-believers ,not even one . killing is ultimate sin according to quran . See ? there is a misunderstanding . You can't judge islam by islamic's terrorist . Christain and Islam have same story different point of view . Regarding Jew I know little by now ,so I'll shut my mouth . In political point of view Islam are being treated unfair becoz they are real owner of the land where Jew argue that they own the land . This is a simply unfair story accepted as fair by USA ,England . Why they accept ? Simple ! For England they are really responsible for the whole story if you understand enought . For USA ,business is business . If they really love to take care the problem ,they should give their pices of land to Jew . Sounds funny may be but I really see world-war 4 start from there .

Nice thoughts! I do agree with you but one should not just get the knowledge of other religions but should try to find the truth and should adopt the one that is the best,and there has to be a best religion as truth is only one not all can be true.
