Princess Diana - was it an accident?

The High Court has ruled that the inquest into the deaths 10 years ago of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed will be heard in front of a jury. This decision overturns the previous ruling that the inquest should be conducted in private by a High Court Judge. Is it right that an inquest should be held or do you think it's time to accept that accidents happen and leave it alone? Maybe the conspiracy theorists were right and it was murder? What do you think?

I do not believe it was an accident, where was the other car. All very odd as the only survivor lost his memory. I am not a royalist and do not trust any of them especially prince Phillip-a snake in the grass!! I was not a afn of Diana, as there are so many people suffering in this world who have my sympathy, they are all just a bunch of inbred freaks. I hope Al Fayed has his day in court as the whole thing is corrupt!!!

lol - inbred freaks! So true!! I'm glad Al Fayed is taking them on - everyone's so busy going on about Diana I think people often forget he lost his son as well.

You are so right. His loss was genuine and very sad. However, when normal meets freaks something is bound to go wrong. I am sure there were rumours that Diana was pregnant with his baby. The royals are complete rascists and would never have allowed this to happen. What makes me laugh is the fact that they are not bloody British themselves.LOL!!

I do beleive there was more to it than just an accident. I beleive that the British Monarchy or the British Government could not allow the bloodline of Al Fayed to seep into the Royals. Diana was the perfect picture of a princess and this country misses her alot. Perhaps it was just an accident but I feel that too much was going on at that time in her life for a conspiracy to be completely ruled out.

The British goverment is only pandering to him. Even with all his money he is canstantly denied a citizenship in this country. I have seen asylum seekers being accepted more in this country than he is.

I believe that accidents happens even to media exposed people, but in this case I believe thereĀ“s something behind.

My gut feeling is that it was an accident - fair enough a very convenient and timely accident for some people (including the royals of course) but I think at least if an inquest is held in the UK it will help to draw a line under the whole thing. The fact that a jury will be involved is also more likely to result in a credible verdict.

Yes it was an accident but could have been avoided if there were no media people chasing them.

I agree the paparazi certainly played a part in it. Thanks for your response.

Honestly I always felt in my heart that there was something wrong with this so called accident. Princess Di was never truly accepted nor did she feel welcome and then to carry the title and be with someone the palace did not approve of all the while dear Charles was with Camilla I just can't accept that theory. On second hand what good will the inquest do now? It won't bring her back and you can't make the Palace serve time so what's the purpose? Those young men have been through enough and it's them who will suffer should the truth come out.

Right well first off I am just going to say right now that i am not a very political family nor do itake any interest in the Royal Family so I am just telling you what I think frmo my knowledge which isn't much. Oh and i am Scottish if that makes any difference. Right well we all know how much a fantastic person Princess Diana was - I don't think anyone is willing to debate that. And I personally think the Royal Family is a total farce and I really don't see what the point of them is except so that they can get special treatment. I think she was murdered by the Royal Family - Oh my gosh can I get killed for saying this. Anyway I just think what are the chances of her getting killed. I think it is all a bit too tradgic and stuff like that just doesn't happen itself. I know people die all the time in car crashes. I am not denying that but what were the chances of it being Diana. I know alot of people may not agree with me and I am sorry if I have offended anyone who is in support of the Royal Family but I jst think it all happened at a time a bit too convienant for them.
